Felix Horacio Codswallop the First grew up thinking he was a squirrel. He lived outdoors in the trees amongst the other creatures. He wondered why he was different than the other squirrels, but never quite figured it out. He had a big bushy tail, he chittered like a squirrel, but the human on the farm where his favorite tree resided didn’t feed him nuts. She fed him roasted chicken scraps.
One day, a man heard of this odd kitten living in a tree and went to see him. When the man stood below the tree, Felix knew this man would understand him. He leapt into his arms and snuggled up close. For the first time he purred. The man took him home to his spouse and two children. Felix instantly fell in love with the nonbinary person known as Lou.
He decided to earn his keep he would work for Lou and her daughter Bev for their company Spilled Ink and Coffee. Felix poses for photos and comes up with snappy posts for their social media. He is the mascot they never knew they needed.
And he is very much loved.
